In the tradition of virtue ethics,Aquinas highlights the importance and frontier of questioning the nature of virtue. His questioning about the nature of virtue inherited,integrated and promoted the two traditions of Christian Augustinism and ancient Greek Aristotelianism,with distinct methodological features and complete definition of the four-reasons,is called a model and has far-reaching impact in the virtue ethics.
