In the economic and social development, the automobile industry develops rapidly and the development prospect is broad. However, it is inevitable that cars will fail in use, increasing the demand for car maintenance personnel. Vocational colleges and universities are the main positions to train car maintenance personnel, which can train more auto maintenance personnel to meet the market demand. Therefore, vocational colleges should innovate teaching methods, and combine the market demand to improve the training of automobile maintenance personnel. This paper mainly introduces the connotation and advantages of the project teaching method, and analyzes the specific application of the project teaching method in automobile maintenance specialty.
