中国有着悠久的文学发展历史,在古代文学史上魏晋南北朝时期是一个承上启下的重要阶段,因而对整个中国文学史的发展有重要的影响。在南北朝文学研究中,南朝文学的受关注度远比北朝文学高,纵观北朝文学,几乎只有乐府民歌受到了一些重视。"北地三才"是北朝的文人代表,在一定程度上支撑了北朝文学的发展。到20世纪末以后,学界对于"北地三才"的研究逐步深入。草原文化作为一种独特的文化形态,是北朝文学精神中的最重要特质,与汉族的传统儒学精神相融合,对"北地三才"的创作也产生重要影响。

China has a long history of literary development. In the history of ancient Chinese literature,Wei,Jin and southern and Northern Dynasties were an important stage connecting the preceding and the following,which had an important influence on the development of Chinese literature history. In the study of literature in the northern and Southern Dynasties,the degree of concern of literature in the Southern Dynasties was much higher than that in the Northern Dynasties. Throughout the Northern Dynasties literature,almost all the folk songs of Yuefu have received some attention. The three talents of the Northern Dynasty is the representative of the literati in the Northern Dynasty. To a certain extent,it supports the development of the Northern Dynasty Literature. By the end of the twentieth Century,the study of The three talents of the Northern Dynasty was gradually deepened. As a unique cultural form,prairie culture is the most important characteristic of the literature spirit of the Northern Dynasties,and is integrated with the traditional Confucian spirit of the Han nationality. It also has an important influence on the creation of ＂The three talents of the Northern Dynasty＂.
