Rhetoric-based Research on Cultural Implications of the Sun and the Moon Used in Arabic Proverbs

谚语是阿拉伯语的重要组成部分,修辞作为语言和文学中必不可少的修饰手段,在阿拉伯语的历史中源远流长,阿拉伯语谚语大量借用太阳和月亮,通过一定的修辞,使表达更加准确、鲜明、生动,折射出阿拉伯社会、人民生活的现实状况。本文结合具体有关太阳和月亮的阿拉伯语谚语,通过分析其使用的主要修辞手法,总结阿拉伯语谚语中隐含的阿拉伯人对太阳和月亮的不同情感,挖掘其折射出的文化内涵。

Proverb is a significant part of Arabic, and rhetoric, as an indispensable modifying method in language and literature, is of long standing in Arabic history. Borrowings like sun and moon are widely used in Arabic proverbs along with some figures of speech, making the expression more accurate, clear, vivid as well as reflecting the realistic condition of Arab society and people＇s lives. This article summarizes the emotions of the Arabs towards sun and moon that Arabic proverbs imply through analyzing the specific ones related to sun and moon as well as the main figures of speech in them, aiming at exploring the reflected culttral connotations.
