This paper analyzes the project cost budget work, analyzes the causes of the actual cost over budget in the process of building project construction, the contents are as follows ： the budget of construction project fails to be qualified, the cost of project due to the market, environmental factors are affected, construction companies pay less attention to the construction cost control. Combining with these contents, this paper summarizes the strategy of strengthening construction project budget control, which mainly includes perfecting project cost budget compilation, increasing project change management, attaching great importance to cost budget control during construction phase.
