县域金融发展与城镇化进程的分层化差异研究

Hierarchical Difference Analysis on Financial Development and Urbanization Process of County

基于中国县域截面数据,从金融发展的规模、结构和效率三个方面衡量了县域金融发展水平,并运用分位数回归方法实证了县域金融发展等因素对城镇化进程的影响效应。结果显示:金融发展结构对县域城镇化有着显著的推动作用,也即是说国有银行贷款占比越高越利于县域城镇化的推进。但是,对于不同城镇化水平的县域来说,金融发展结构的促进作用存在明显差异,具体表现为金融发展结构对城镇化的推动作用在城镇化水平最高和最低的县域地区显著强于其他城镇化水平的县域地区。此外,财政支出和固定资产投资都显著有利于县域城镇化的推进,但是不同城镇化水平县域地区仍表现出了明显差异。

Based on China＇s county cross section data, this paper measures county financial development from three aspects, financial scale, structure, and efficiency, and uses the empirical quantile regression method to analysis the influence of county financial development and other factors on urbanization process. The results show that only the financial development structure has a significant effect on urbanization process rather than the financial development scale and efficiency. However, for counties in different urbanization level, there exists different promotion function of financial development structure.In specific, the effect is significantly stronger in county areas with highest and lowest level of urbanization. In addition, both fiscal expenditure and fixed asset investment has significantly positive effect on urbanization process, but the effect still shows differently in different level of counties.
