Objective:To explore the application effect of information-motivation-behavioral skills model(IMB)in the early rehabilitation nursing of stroke patients. Methods:A total of 206 patients with cerebral apoplexy were divided into two groups according to the wards in which they were hospitalized. The patients in control group were given routine rehabilitation training, while the patients in observation group were guided by IMB model for rehabilitation training. The rehabilitation training compliance, motor function score(FMA)and daily living ability score(Barthel index,BI)were compared between the two groups of patients after intervention. Results:After the intervention,in the observation group, the compliance of the rehabilitation training was better than that in control group, and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P=0.026);the FMA score(48.11±6.89)and BI score(57.13±6.90)in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group(40.60±6.84,49.69±6.92),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P=0.000).Conclusions:Application of IMB in early rehabilitation nursing of stroke patients could improve compliance of patients' rehabilitation training and promote recovery of limb motor function and daily living ability.
