Exploration on Case Methods Applied in Linear Algebra: Application of Social Networks

线性代数的实际应用是传统教育方式中的薄弱环节。文章提出将社会网络分析案例引入非数学专业线性代数的课堂中。通过小组讨论的形式用矩阵代数的方法分析真实社会网络的一些性质,强化学生对线性代数概念和原理的理解。在线性代数课堂中,分析真实的社会网络,需要教师进一步提高教研能力。

In traditional teaching of linear algebra, its widely application is weakness. Implementing case method in linear algebra teaching is presented in this paper. In order to adapting each majors difference, social network case is the preferred one. In the form of group discussions, some properties of real-world social networks are analyzed by matrix algebra. This can strengthen the understanding of the concept and principle on linear algebra. Analyzing real-world networks in linear algebra teaching, teachers need to further improve the teaching and research abilities.
