摘要
尽管迄今为止已有不少有关英语语音教学的研究,然而以英专学生作为研究对象,探讨他们对语音课重要性的认知,以及他们的认知对语音课本身与其他相关课程学习之效果的研究却不多见。本研究对300名英语/商务英语专业在读大学生进行了问卷调查,并对调查数据进行了相关性分析。研究结果表明:绝大多数英语/商务英语专业大学生都重视英语语音课,且对语音课的重视程度与语音课以及口语课成绩呈正相关的关系。本研究对于促进英语语音课的教学有一定的理论与实际意义。
Although there have been many studies on English phonetics teaching so far, research aiming at English major stu-dents to explore their cognition of the importance of phonetics class, and discuss the effect with other related classes is rare. This study conducted a survey among 300 students majoring in English or Business English, and completed the correlation analysis for the result data. The result shows that most students in English major and Business English major regard the phonetics class important. In addition, students' cognition of the phonetics class' importance and the scores of phonetics and spoken English classes are positively related. Therefore, this study plays an essential part in promoting English phonetics teaching.
