外交演讲的英译可以看作是译者精心构建的修辞劝说性话语,而西方修辞学理论的核心是劝说方式研究,以西方修辞劝说理论中的亚里士多德修辞三诉诸理论和肯尼斯·伯克的"同一性"理论(又称"认同"理论)为基础。文章以习近平主席在"一带一路"国际合作高峰论坛开幕式的演讲《携手推进"一带一路"建设》英译本为研究文本进行分析,旨在研究中国外交演讲英译文本中修辞劝说策略的运用,从而对提高中国的国际话语权产生积极影响。

The English translation for the diplomacy speech can be considered as the rhetoric persuading discourse constructed carefully by the speaker. The key study in the western rhetorical theory is the research of persuading means with Aristotle＇s syllogism and Kenneth Burke＇s ＂identity＂theory as the foundation. By analyzing the English translation of Xi Jinping＇s speech for ＂the Belt and Road＂International Cooperation Summit Forum,it aims to study the rhetorical strategy in China＇s diplomacy speech translation.
