以英美法为主要教学内容的法律英语教学具有多模态性和实践性,而模拟法庭具备多模态性,且具有重要的实践价值,因此,模拟法庭和法律英语教学具有天然的契合性。模拟法庭可以创设真实情境,充分发挥其多模态协同作用和实践价值,为学生提供将课堂所学知识转化为实际技能的实践机会,促进学生法律英语实务能力的真正提升。按照拟真程度和难易程度,可将法律英语模拟法庭分为排演式和对抗式两种形式。

Legal English teaching itself has multimodal and practical features. The moot court is characterized by multimodal,which is firt for the legal English teaching. The moot court can create a real scene,give full play to its multimodal synergy and practical value,and provide the students with the opportunity to transform the knowledge learned in the classroom into practical skills. The approach can promote the practical ability of the students＇ legal English. According to the degree of authenticity and difficulty,the legal English moot court can be divided into two forms： rehearsal and counteraction.
