从“普适”到“差异”:译者职业伦理“本地化”走向刍议

From “Common” to “Special”:the “Localization” of Codes of Ethics

摘要 随着翻译服务市场化,不规范的翻译行为层出不穷,伦理诉求呼之欲出。在翻译研究中,伦理讨论围绕"如何译"问题展开。译者对这一问题的处理方式便开启了翻译伦理研究的另一维度——译者职业伦理。中西方译者职业伦理都具有"普适"性,提供宏观指导,但考量中国本土翻译市场发现"差异"性凸显,长久以来倡导的安德鲁·切斯特曼(Andrew Chesterman)九大价值适用性渐微,新时期呼吁新伦理的到来。 As translation services become more market-oriented, ill translation activities are outstanding so that the translation ethics comes into being. In translation studies, the core of translation ethics is "how to translate". Translators' ways of solving the problem explore another research field, namely codes of ethics.Both China and western countries share similar requirements for "common" codes of ethics offering general guidance, but the translation market in China has its own characteristics. Under these situations, the nine values that Chesterman emphasizes are weak. Therefore, in the new era, codes of ethics have new requirements.
