Analysis of the marital status is an indispensable and important segment in researching the women＇s life and social status in China. Based on a historical literature review,the thesis states and analyzes the marriage of Lu You,a famous poet in the Southern Song Dynasty,and his wife Tang Wan,so as to study female social status in the Southern Song Dynasty.
