Objective To investigate expressions and significance of matrix metalloproteinase-2( MMP-2) and reversion-inducing cysteine-rich protein with Kazal motifs( RECK) protein in intimal tissue of adenomyosis( AM).Methods Myometrium ectopic endometrium( ectopic group) and non ectopic endometrium( non ectopic group) samples were collected from 30 AM patients admitted during June 2015 and November 2017,and samples of non neoplastic endometrium were selected from 25 patients with uterine fibroids at the same period as control group. Expressions of MMP-2 and RECK proteins in different endometrium tissues were observed. Results In ectopic group, positive expression rate of MMP-2 was significantly higher than that in control group( P〈0. 05); positive expression rate of RECK was significantly lower than those in non ectopic and control groups( P〈0. 05). Expression integration of MMP-2 protein in ectopic group was significantly higher than those in non ectopic and control groups, and the value in non ectopic group was significantly higher than that in control group( P〈0. 05). Expression integration of RECK protein in ectopic group was significantly lower than that in non ectopic and control group( P〈0. 05). Conclusion Abnormal expressions of RECK and MMP-2 proteins may play an important roles in development of AM.
