Novel Orlando concentrates on Virginia Woolf's insights into the spiritual growth of women artists. Firstly,it allows the protagonist to broaden "his"horizon through traveling across the geographical boundaries. And encountering with gypsy camp suggests that this special context could be seen an exclave for women to achieve gender equality. Moreover, the magic transformation in gender enables Orlando to observe and think from dual perspectives.By trans-boundary writing in the aspects of territory, race and gender, Woolf completes the construction of triple heterotopias and thus achieves her feminist amendment to literary canon Faust written by male literary master.
