In the age of mobile Internet,new media has been gradually becoming one of the carriers of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The new media has brought opportunities for as well as severe challenges to the ideological and political education in colleges and universities. In this context,it＇s essential for colleges and universities to carry out the work with overall plan,including exploring actively countermeasures for the ideological and political education work in colleges and universities in the new media age,strengthening the construction of new media education platform,improving the media literacy of education subject and education object,promoting the high integration of traditional advantages of ideological and political work with information technology,and creating a new situation for ideological and political education work in colleges and universities.
