博物馆是公众科普的主要阵地之一,随着国家和全社会对科学素养及科学思维培养的日益重视,博物馆需要不断接受新思想,针对不同人群、不同的科普需求进行科普形式创新、方法创新和模式创新等创新尝试。依托博物馆场馆及人才优势,与学校教育相配合,普及科学知识、弘扬科学精神、传播科学思想、倡导科学方法,在全社会推动形成讲科学、爱科学、学科学、用科学的良好氛围。湖南省地质博物馆(以下简称"地博")作为国土资源科普的重要窗口,承担了向公众宣传自然资源知识、树立生态保护意识的重要职能,如何做到有效的科普创新,是目前国内各大地质博物馆积极研究的重要课题。

Geological museums are important windows of the science of land and resources, carrying important functions of publicizing the knowledge of natural resources and establishing the ecology conservation consciousness, how to do effective scientific innovation, is now the domestic geological museums＇ important subject.
