摘要面对国际政策的压力、全球化和知识经济的要求、中等教育发展的挑战,非洲国家纷纷开始发展私立高等教育,在原有公立高等教育的基础上,构架了非营利性、营利性、准营利性的多类型、多层次的高等教育体系。20世纪90年代后期,对于非洲私立高等教育而言,既是发展期,又是转型期。如何在制度建设起步晚、机构规模小、分布差异大等形势下继续保持发展势头是非洲私立高等教育需要思考的问题之一。
