摘要
"被发文身""被发左衽"中的"被发"究竟何义,学界多有争论,有人主张"披散"说,有人主张"剪断"说,有人主张"辫发"说。通过不同语境中"被发"含义的比证以及词义关系、词义来源的考索发现,上古文献中的"被发"只能理解作发不束而披散。在"被发"词义探讨中,准确把握"被"与"披"、"被"与"翦"的关系,恰当使用双方义异的异文,是需要特别注意的问题。
About the meaning of ＂pifa＂ in the two words＂with hair disheveled and tattoo＂and＂with hair disheveled and left lapel＂,there were many arguments in academic circles.Some people advocated that the meaning of＂pifa＂meant the disheveled hair.Some people believed that the meaning of this word was cuttinghair.Some people think that the meaning of this word was braidinghair.Through comparison of the meanings of the word in different contexts and relationship as well as the origin of the meanings of the word,it is found that the meaning of＂pifa＂in ancient documents can only be interpreted as hanginghairdown.While discussing the meaning of the word,more attention should be paid to the relationship between＂pi（被）＂and＂pi（披）＂or＂pi（被）and jian（cut）＂,and the different texts in which the word is used.
