法律英语作为众多专用英语的重要组成部分之一,与日常英语相比,更为复杂和专业。不同种类的英语在进行翻译时都会遵循不同的翻译原则,法律英语翻译时亦需要遵守特殊的翻译原则。文章通过案例分析,对其翻译原则与翻译方法进行分析。针对法律英语的词汇特征,文章提出了直译、意译和增减词法等翻译方法,以期为同类英语翻译提供借鉴和参考。

Legal English,as one of the most important components of special English,is more complex and professional than everyday English. Different kinds of English will follow different translation principles when translated,and so will legal English. The author analyzes its translation principles and translation methods through case studies. In view of the lexical features of legal English,the author proposes certain translation methods such as literal translation,free translation,and lexical morphing to provide reference for similar English translation.
