The Sydney Opera House is famous for its unique design around the world, whose hall and tone quality designs are pioneering as well. This paper makes a discussion of the hall and tone quality designs, from the perspectives of the hall design requirements, JФrn Utzon＇s（the designer） exploration of the hall designs, the hall designs being implemented, and the evaluation of tone quality in the hall.
