The medical cyclotron at the PET/CT center of the hospital＇s nuclear medicine department is an indispensable device that is also radioactive when used. Therefore, for the overall preparation of the medical cyclotron apparatus room, relevant radiation protection work needs to be done. In this paper, a detailed analysis of the workflow of medical cyclotrons is presented. At the same time, facilities, room requirements, and protection and ventilation settings for accelerator rooms, quality control rooms, gas storage rooms, radiochemical laboratories, operating rooms, equipment rooms, and offices are introduced. It provides relevant reference ideas for the overall preparation of the medical cyclotron engine room and hopes to promote the development of nuclear medicine.
