With the continuous growth of the national economyand the continuous improvement of people＇s living standards,people from all walks of life have begun to pay high attention toand attach importance to the shaping of civic awareness. Civicawareness isa social awareness that must be possessed in modernharmonious and healthy life. It specifically covers the obligationsand awareness of power of citizens, personality awareness, legalawareness, and freedom awareness. By integrating the traditionalculture of the Chinese nation into the work of cultivating citizens＇civic awareness, we can comprehensively raise the civic aware-ness of the people, promote the formation of public moral con-cepts that meet the requirements of the new era, and createaharmonious atmosphere of ideological and moral construction.This paper will further analyze and explore the integration ofChinese traditional culture and civic awareness.
