《非洲的假面剧》中的“挪用”策略探析

The “Appropriate” Strategy in The Masque of Africa

《非洲的假面剧》是维·苏·奈保尔于2010年出版的最作,书中通过作者在非洲的游历见闻,表达了作者对受殖民影响及西方强势文明冲击下非洲诸国现状的关注。本文运用后殖民理论中的"挪用",从被殖民者对基督教、殖民文化及语言的挪用三个方面分析《非洲的假面剧》中的"挪用"策略。"挪用"不仅可以让被殖民者对自己国家的语言、文字、历史等进行重写,而且可以将其他文明的优秀成果为己所用。

As the newest work of V. S. Naipaul,The Masque of Africa,was published in 2010. It is a novel about the author＇s travelling and visiting in Africa,showing the author＇s concern for the conditions of the Africa countries which are influenced by colonialism and western civilization. The paper aims to use＂ appropriate＂ of post-colonial theory, and analyze from the three aspects of appropriating Christian,colonial culture and language in The Masque of Africa by applying the ＂appropriate＂ strategy.＂Appropriate＂can not only allow the colonized to rewrite their own countries＇ language,characters,histories and so on,but also can use the best results of other civilizations.
