Smith-Coase Framework and Economic Development

不管是从供给方解释经济增长的新古典视角还是从需求方解释经济增长的凯恩斯视角,似乎并没有真正地解释经济增长的原因。斯密-科斯框架可以解释经济增长。分工是经济增长的源泉,降低交易费用可以促进分工发展,分工可以进入循环的自我演化。经济主体按照比较优势发展专业化分工,政府应该完善各种软、硬件基础设施以降低交易费用,促进分工发展。

It seems that no real cause has everbeen found to interpret economic growth,no matter from the neoclassical perspective which explains economic growth based on the supply side,or from the Keynes perspective that emphasizes the demand side. The Smith-Coase framework can explain economic growth. The division of labor is the source of economic growth,and the reduction of transaction costs can promote the development of the division of labor. Division of labor can enter the cycle of self-evolution. The economic subject should develop the specialized division of labor according to the comparative advantage. The government should improve all kinds of soft and hardware infrastructure to reduce the transaction cost and promote the development of the division of labor.
