Taking the Great Wilderness as an example,this article focuses on the editing style of ancient Chinese mythology.Four aspects are covered： the compound editing style; characteristics of short story collections; the compilation tradition of the drawing and writing; the arrangement of chapters and sections. The general editing style of macro mythological stories is also summarized.
