摘要
在中国文人画领域,沈耀初被誉为继吴昌硕之后的一盏大写意明灯。他的大写意花鸟画,虽习之"青藤""八大""扬州八怪""南吴北齐"诸家,但其既师古人又师吾心,能以艺术的方式体悟自然的律动,并且能以极具雕塑感的画法自成一格。
In the field of Chinese literati painting,SHEN Yaochu is known as a"torchlight"after WU Changshuo. Although he modeled his painting after "Qingteng","Eight Landscape Masters","Eight Yangzhou Peculiars"and "Wu in South and Qi in North",his freehand paintings of flowers and birds well exceed their predecessors with his own artistic epiphany. He displays natural rhythm in an artistic manner and forms a very sculptural painting style of its own.
