Blending EGP and ESP in Teaching Interdisciplinary Translation for Non-English Majors

摘要 世界全球化背景下,随着各国贸易和科技交流活动增多,对语言交流的专业性要求也在逐步提高。我国主导的大学英语翻译教学EGP模式已经满足不了社会对"专业+语言"应用型人才的需求。基于大学英语翻译教学跨学科的教学现状,尝试从EGP与ESP融合角度,在教学设计和师资构建方面提出创新策略,旨在提高学生在职业领域的语言应用技能,优化大学英语翻译教学的跨学科教学。 Driven by globalization,business and technology exchanges have been increasing among different countries,so have the requirements for professional language proficiency. In China,traditional teaching models can no longer meet the demands for college graduates with satisfactorily "Academic knowledge+ English competence". Based on the current teaching situation of the non-major interdisciplinary translation,the writer prefers to blend the EGP and the ESP model,from which new strategies on teaching design and teaching staff construction are presented,accordingly to improve students' language competence in their career and teaching effectiveness of interdisciplinary translation for non-English majors.
