By analyzing the ways and causes of coal dust formation,summarizing some main methods and means in coal dust management in coal preparation plant,the work idea and direction of coal dust management in the future in coal preparation plant was put forward. The practice of coal dust management in coal preparation plant shows that the quality of working environment is improved,the incidence of occupational disease is reduced,the safety and environmental protection work in the field is raised,and the premise that the dust in the production site is not exceeding the standard is ensured.
