How to Use the Internet to Foster Core Socialist Values Among College Students

利用互联网培育社会主义核心价值观对于坚定当代大学生马克思主义文化自信、巩固高校网上思想文化阵地、为建设社会主义现代化强国培养合格人才具有重要意义。当前,网络文化解构了大学生主流价值观,传统思想政治教育难以适应网络化教育环境、少数大学生网上行为恶化了网络生态环境,应通过发挥网络思想政治教育主体责任、建立科学的社会主义核心价值观网络培育体系、完善高校互联网管理规章制度等方面培育社会主义核心价值观。

Using the Internet to cultivate the core socialist values is of great significance to the increase of students＇ cultural confidence, expansion of the ideological and cultural fronts and the training of qualified talents for building China into a modern socialist country. However, as Internet culture de constructs the mainstream values among college students, traditional means for ideological and politi cal education can hardly meet the demand of the online environment which is often made difficult by nasty behaviors of some students. To improve the situation, colleges and universities need to strengthen their responsibility for online ideological and political education, create a scientific network for cultivating core socialist values and establish a complete set of rules and regulations for network management.
