Application is at the heart of the application-oriented tourism management and service professional training program. This paper highlights the ＂two-stride＂reconstruction of the professional training program,works towards the transformation to application,attempts to devise a professional training program that excels in two areas,and offers suggestions as to the design of the roadmap for such a program.
