Contemporary Literary Criticism in the Perspective of Chaos Aesthetics

混沌美是有序与无序的和谐统一,也是确定性与随机性的辩证统一。混沌美学反思决定论、独断论、因果论与二元论,重视偶然性、对话性、非线性及复杂性。吉莱斯皮、西姆等国内外文学批评家运用混沌理论探究各类复杂的文学现象。混沌美学视域下的当代文学批评运用非线性思维和复杂性理论来诠释童话、史诗、小说和剧本,建构了一种独特的批评话语范式。

The beauty of chaos is not only a hannonious unity of order and disorder, but also a dialectical unity of certainty＂ and randomness. Aesthetics of chaos reflects determinism, authoritarianism, causality and dualism, and emphasizes contingency, dialogue, non-linearity and complexity. Critics such as Gillespie and Sim at home and abroad interpret complex literature phenomena with chaos theory. Non-linear thinking and complexity theory, which are typical of aesthetics of chaos, are used in interpreting fairy tales, epics, novels and dramas, which opens up a new discourse paradigm for contemporary literature criticism.
