An Analysis of the Female Image in the TV Play Nirvana in Fire

2015年,由网络小说《琅琊榜》改编的同名电视剧一经播出,便受到了社会各界的广泛好评。而作为以男性形象为主的电视剧,《琅琊榜》以其不多的女性角色,打破了以往影视剧中女性角色懦弱、胆小的刻板形象,彰显出了女性独立、自主的新形象。由此体现出,在女性主义理论逐渐被广大受众所熟知和接受的背景下,影视媒介对当下社会女性形象审美趋势的转变。

In 2015,the TV play Nirvana in Fire adapted from an online novel with same name,was well received by audience.As a TV play mainly devoted to display male images,Nirvana in Fire,with its few female characters,breaks the stereotypes of coward and timid female roles,and show new images of independent women.It evidently shows the transformation of movie and television media＇aesthetic tastes towards female image in the present society,along with gradual acceptance of feminist theory by public.
