叶芝诗歌自然意象的认知心理学解读

ACognitive Psychological Study on W.B.Yeats' Poetic Natural Imagery

诗歌意象是诗人通过独特的情感活动从客观意象中创造出来的一种艺术形象。自然意象是爱尔兰诗人威廉·巴特勒·叶芝诗歌中的一个重要元素,它传达了诗人丰富的情感和深邃的思想。本文运用认知心理学模型:集合-理论模型、语义特征-比较模型、心理扫描-认知地图研究和意象的提取与再现研究,解读叶芝早期诗歌的单独意象:岛屿、树林、苹果花以及组合的意象;并从认知心理学的角度探讨叶芝后期诗歌意象:石头、玫瑰、天鹅中的象征主义、现代主义、神秘主义,揭示其中的认知因素、诗人情感和其爱尔兰民族精神。

Poetic image is a kind of artistic image created from objective image through the poet＇s unique emotional activities. The natural image is an important element in the Irish poet William Butler Yeats＇ poetry,which conveys the poet＇s abundant feelings and profound thoughts. The interpretation of Yeats＇ earlier poetry are described,respectively from separate images and combined images,focusing on island,woods and apple blossom. Meanwhile,with cognitive psychology model to interpret Yeats＇ earlier poetic imagery,Set-Theoretical Model,Semantic Feature-Comparison Model,Psychological Scanning-Cognitive Map and Extraction and Representation of Images are adopted. The poetic images of stone,rose and swan in Yeats＇ later poetry are analyzed from the viewpoints of cognitive psychology to explore symbolism,modernism and occultism and Yeats＇ cognitive factors,emotions and Irish national spirit.
