摘要
阿嵯耶观音造像最早出现于《南诏图传》中。在南诏大理国时期,一直都盛行着观音化身说,《南诏图传》重点描述的就是阿嵯耶观音化为梵僧宣扬佛法,其形象在图卷中频繁出现,借以烘托其神圣的地位。阿嵯耶观音是南诏大理国时期地位最为尊贵,同样也是最受百姓敬仰的神祇,其造像身姿纤细、头饰高耸、发型精致的艺术特征,皆与唐宋两代的观音造像有所差异,颇具云南少数民族地方政权的特色。
The Goddess of Mercy incarnation had been said continuously in the Nanzhao Dali country time.The figure and biography of Nanzhao is described emphatically Cuo ointo a brahman monk to promote Buddhism.The image in the volume are frequently used to foil the sacred status. Cuo o ye guanyin is the most honorable status of Nanzhao Dali kingdom period, and also the most godadmired by people.Slenderbody, the tall head ornaments, thefine hairstyle, those which has a difference with the Tang and Song two generation of Goddess of guanyin statuaries, has the characteristic of Yunnan national minority local organs of state power.
