Returning to Future-oriented and Student-oriented Higher Education

作为学校的领导者、管理者,必须有高屋建瓴的发展愿景,引领学校前行;必须有面向未来的远见,转变教育观念;必须以生为本,推进教育改革;必须有丰富多彩的通识教育活动,激发学生潜能;必须服务区域产业,激发学校活力。

This paper states that college leaders, who are also in charge of management, are expected to have great vision for development. They should not only be future-oriented, but also willing to change education concepts. Being student-oriented is important, as well as the determination to push forward education reforms. It also points out that, to tap students＇ potential, a variety of activities of liberal education are necessary. Besides, to inject new life into colleges, higher education must be in service of regional industry
