Flood control and rainstorm management are important topics in the field of flood control and drought resistance. This paper introduces the general situation of Malaysia＇s natural geography, flood characteristics, flood control engineering measures and non-engineering measures, expounds the constitution of flood control and disaster mitigation system in Malaysia and the main measures for the management and utilization of rainwater resources, and through comparison with the system of flood control and disaster mitigation in the Pearl River Basin, provides the reference basis for the flood control and rainstorm resources management.
