摘要
数字图像压缩一直是信息处理技术研究的热点。离散余弦变换(Discrete Cosine Transform,DCT)具有良好的去相关性和能量压缩特性,已成为现有大多数图像编码标准的核心技术。笔者论述了离散余弦变换的定义及逆变换定义、矩阵表达形式,介绍了离散余弦变换在图像压缩编码领域中的实现以及存在的问题,探讨了未来图像压缩编码的发展趋势及研究热点。
Digital image compression has always been a hot topic in information processing technology. Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) has good correlation and energy compression characteristics, and has become the core technology of most of the existing image coding standards. The definition of discrete cosine transform (DCT), the definition of inverse transformation and the form of matrix expression are discussed. The realization and existing problems of discrete cosine transform in image compression coding are introduced, and the trend of future image compression coding and research hot spots are also discussed.
