The Reconstruction of Ethics of the New Culture Movement

新文化运动从思想和实践层面进行了伦理重建,在一定程度上和一定范围内落实了平等、自由、独立的原则,改变了一些不良的伦理习惯、习俗和道德现象,完善了道德品格。但是伦理重建仍然存在着很多问题,需要进行反思,特别是普遍伦理落实平台的缺失和强制力的匮乏。此外,新文化运动的伦理批判、重建与儒家伦理的关系并非简单的二元对立模式。

The New Culture Movement has carried on the reconstruction of ethics from the aspects of theory and practice. To some extent and in a certain range,it has implemented the principle of equality,freedom and independence,and has changed the bad habits of ethics,customs as well as moral phenomenon. And the moral character was also improved. But there are still many problems in the reconstruction of ethics needing to be introspected,especially the lack of a general ethics implementing platform and the compulsion. In addition,in the New Culture movement,we could not simply conclude the relationship between the critical reconstruction of ethics and Confucian Ethics in binary oppositions.
