《四十二章经》的考辨与义理——基于太虚《四十二章经讲录》的探讨

The Textual Research andArgumentation of Forty-two Chapter Sutra——Astudy based on The Saying of Forty-two Chapter Sutra by Taixu

近代学者对《四十二章经》的真伪、性质问题进行了全面的考辨。综合观之,《四十二章经》为汉代所译佛经,实为一部与《阿含经》《法句经》关系甚密的经抄,并且没有支谦译本。虽历经后世佛徒更变,然并非伪作,教理上兼大小二乘。太虚《四十二章经讲录》明其大乘义理,尤重其般若与精进,允承该经为中土佛教最早真实教典。近代学者的研究成果,实为当代佛教学术研究的重要借鉴。

Modern scholars have made comprehensive criticism on the authenticity and nature of the Forty-two Chapter Sutra. In a comprehensive view, it is the Sutra of the Han Dynasty translated by Buddhists. In fact, Forty-two Chapter Sutra is closely related to the Agama Sutra and the Dhammapada Sutra, and there is no version of ZMqian. Although it has changed since later times, it is not a fake sutra. The content of Forty-two Chapter Sutra contains the Buddha dharma of Mahayana and Hinayana. Taixu＇ Saying of Forty-two Chapter Sutra explains the Mahayana theory, especially highest wisdom and Jingjin Taixu promised Forty-two Chapter Sutrais the earliest true teachings of Middle Earth Buddhism. The research results of modern scholars are the important reference of contemporary Buddhist history writing.
