A certain hydrometallurgical smelter has a whole-process project integrating mining, mineral processing and hydrometallurgical smelting. On the basis of introducing the design idea and system composition of the automatic system of the smelter,the paper describes the detailed application of automatic technology in the production according to the technical features of the process. It shows in the actual application that the automatic system can effectively control the production process, improve the production capacity, and ensure the continuity and stability of the plant-wide flow process.
