文化散文出现于20世纪八九十年代,从文化视角来关照表现对象,用文学的形象和情感来唤醒沉睡的历史文化,同时,用历史文化的精神维度来丰富散文的深度。文化散文既充满思考的智性,又不乏文化关怀和个人感受。它的出现与文学报刊的推动密不可分,其中《美文》和《收获》功不可没。
