5月14日至16日,作为第35届上海之春国际音乐节重磅演出,享誉世界的莫斯科大剧院在上海大剧院上演了俄罗斯作曲家里姆斯基-科萨科夫的歌剧《沙皇的新娘》。在上海大剧院开幕不久后的2001年,莫斯科大剧院芭蕾舞团曾在此上演过芭蕾舞剧《天鹅湖》,轰动一时;时隔17年,莫斯科大剧院歌剧团携里姆斯基-科萨科夫的史诗名作《沙皇的新娘》华丽回归。这部歌剧此前曾在第43届香港艺术节上演出,也是莫斯科大剧院的代表作品之一。
OUTLINE / The major highlight of the 35th Shanghai Spring International Music Festival was the appearance of Russia’s world-famous Bolshoi Theatre. From May 14 to 16, the Bolshoi presented Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride at the Shanghai Grand Theatre. In 2001, shortly afer the opening of the Shanghai Grand Theatre, the Bolshoi appeared there performing Swan Lake. 17 years later, the company returned with The Tsar’s Bride, an iconic production that had appeared at the 43rd Hong Kong Arts Festival.
