Obesity is one of the most serious global public health challenges in 21 st century.Modern medical studies revealed that the occurrence of obesity is closely related to intestinal flora imbalance which might promote the host's energy absorption, influence the permeability of intestinal mucosa and the secretion of appetite regulation factors. In the aspects of diet regulation, probiotics and prebiotics, fecal bacteria transplantation, sports, etc.,we take intestinal microflora as a new breakthrough point, discuss the relationship between intestinal flora changes and obesity, and finally put forward an effective health management strategy for obese individuals.
