In this paper we expound the necessity of vertical greening on curtain wall from the ecological significance. Then we contrast the difference of unorganized planting and organized planting, and discuss the prospects of the cultivation method of vertical greening of planting groove. Finally we put forward the optimization techniques of vertical greening in hydroponics planting through the comparison of plant type selection, irrigation system and maintenance.
