摘要
自间充质干细胞特性被发现以来,干细胞生物学已成为再生医学和组织工程学研究的重要领域。可从骨髓、脂肪、脐带血及牙体等组织中分离出间充质干细胞,其中牙源性干细胞相对容易获得,且具有较高的可塑性和多潜能性,可分化为多种细胞,用于多种疾病的治疗,如分化为脑源性神经营养因子、肝细胞、胰腺细胞系、角膜细胞,用于神经系统疾病、肝硬化、糖尿病以及角膜盲症的治疗。对牙源性干细胞的深入研究可能会给某些疾病的治疗带来希望。
Stem cell biology has become an important field in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering therapy since the discovery of mesenchymal stem cells. Mesenchymal stem cells can be isolated from bone marrow,fat,umbilical cord blood and tooth tissues,among which dental stem cells are relatively easy to obtain and have high plasticity and pluripotency,and can be differentiated into multiple cells such as brain derived neurotrophic factors,hepatocytes,pancreatic cells,and corneal cells,for the treatment of various diseases,such as neurological diseases,cirrhosis,diabetes and cornea blindness. Further studies on dental stem cells may bring hope to the treatment of some diseases.
