This paper discusses the management and control of construction cost of construction project from the angle of cost consulting unit. It focuses on three aspects, including audit of bidding control price, process tracking management in construction stage, and completion settlement audit. It expounds the main working methods and the problems that should be taken into account in the management of project cost management, and gives solutions to related problems. The operation procedure and the method of solving the problem can be used for reference by the personnel engaged in the whole process of engineering cost management, and the theory and method of the project cost control have some reference value to the project owner＇s investment.
