The quality of the asphalt pavement in the large longitudinal section of the expressway is not only affecting the capacity of the highway, but also the main reason for frequent accidents. Based on specific projects, the asphalt pavement maintenance technology for large longitudinal slope sections was elaborated from the aspects of materials, mix ratio and road surface structure, which effectively guaranteed the high-temperature anti-rutting and low-temperature anti-cracking ability of asphalt pavements.
