How to Effectively Improve the Management of Religious Affairs at the Grass-roots Level

2016年4月,习近平同志出席全国宗教工作会议,并且在大会上做出了关于新形势下做好宗教工作的重要指示,标志着我党对于宗教工作有了全新的认识高度,基层宗教工作愈发受到国家的重视。众所周知,我国的宗教问题是一个复杂而又敏感的问题。同时,基层宗教关系到国家长治久安,关系到社会稳定,更关系到全面实现小康社会。要妥善化解基层宗教事务管理中暴露出的"三大不足":宗教事务管理体制不足,宗教场所不足,宗教事务管理经费不足。这是当前我国宗教工作中的一项重要任务。通过调研可知,可以采取"三个加强",一是加强宗教管理体制建设,二是加强基层宗教场所建设,三是加强基层宗教投入。唯有解决宗教事务管理中的问题,方能有效提高基层宗教事务管理的水平;唯有全社会共同关心关注宗教事务管理工作,方能走出一条良性管理的道路。

In April 2016,Comrade Xi Jinping attended the National Conference on religious work,and made important instructions on doing a good job in religious work under the new situation. It marked a new understanding of the religious work for our party,and the religious work at the grass-roots level has been paid more and more attention by the state. As we all know,the religious problem in China is a complex and sensitive issue. At the same time,grass-roots religion is related to the long-term stability of the country,social stability,and the realization of a well-off society in an all-round way. In order to properly resolve the＂three shortcomings＂in the management of religious affairs at the grass-roots level,the first is the lack of religious mechanism,the second is the lack of religious places,and the third is the lack of religious input. This is an important task in the current religious work in China. Through the investigation,we can see that the following＂three strengthening＂can be adopted,the first is to strengthen the construction of the religious management system,the second is to strengthen the construction of the grass-roots religious places,and the third is to strengthen the religious input at the grass-roots level. Only to solve the problems in the management of religious affairs can effectively improve the level of the management of religious affairs at the grass-roots level. Only the whole society is concerned about the work of religious affairs,and it can move towards a road of benign management.
