Development,Characteristics and Tendency of Shanghai Adult Education since Reform and Opening up in the Past Four Decades

改革开放40年来,上海成人教育经历了恢复发展、改革调整、逐步融入、全面融入、突破创新四个阶段,总体说来,呈现出四大特点:"成人"的范围不断扩大;从学历教育向非学历教育转型;从工具性导向向赋权性导向转变;由依赖成人学校教育向超越学校教育转变。随着上海基本建成全球卓越城市进程的不断推进,可以预见,未来上海成人教育将朝着高质量、定制化、集群化、泛在化、全球化趋势发展。

Since the reform and opening up in the past four decades,adult education in Shanghai has gone through four stages：restoration and development,reform and adjustment,gradual integration,comprehensive integration and innovation.Generally speaking,there are four characteristics：the scope of＂adult＂is expanding continuously,from academic education to non-academic education,the transformation from instrumental oriented to empowerment,from the dependence on adult school education to transcendence of school education.With the development of an excellent global city of Shanghai,it is foreseeable that in the future,adult education in Shanghai will be a upward trend in way of high quality,custom-made,ambitious,ubiquitous,and globalized development.
